Special Tour of the Festspielhaus • 2006 review For the third time, the Festival management arranged a special tour of the Festspielhaus for the members of the Society on the morning of 3rd August. The demand was once again very great, but for organisational reasons, only 400 people were able to take part. The members were split into 5 groups to explore the orchestra pit, the main stage and backstage area, the chorus room and the grounds, listening to the explanations by the guides. The dedicated staff of the Festspielhaus were able to answer countless interesting questions. Our heart-felt thanks go to Messrs. Emmerich, Jöris, Kessler, Lippert and Matitschka.
