Your contribution benefits the Bayreuth Festival directly as a subsidy for the Festival operations or for the necessary investments in the technology and buildings, thus securing the future of this unique institution.
Our joining fee is currently 260.00 euros, and the annual membership subscription is 205.00 euros. Both of these amounts and any additional donations you care to send can be set off in full against German tax; we send out donation certificates as soon as we receive your bank transfer.
We are pleased to inform that we can offer a special membership category for young interested parties
For this Young Persons Membership, to be called the “Young Friends of Bayreuth”, we hope to attract the age group of up to 35 years old.
With a reduced annual contribution in the amount of 100,00 €, and waiving of the normal entry fee, we hope to make concessions to the financial capabilities of young members.
Already existing memberships may be converted to Young Persons Membership; and, of course, the possibility also exists for young men and women to acquire full membership in our Society, if they wish.
Our “Young Friends” will be offered reduced entry fees to the events of the Society and will receive all of our publications, as well.
Since our allotment of tickets for the Bayreuth Festival performances is already quite limited and reserved for disposal among our “regular member”, we will be provided a special allotment of Final Dress Rehearsal tickets for our new Young Members.
